Front Post Treble Crochet. The difference is there's and extra yarn over when you start a treble stitch. The front post treble crochet (fptr), known as front post double crochet (fpdc) in US terms, is tall stitch that is created by inserting your hook into the spaces on either side of the post below, then starting with three loops on your hook before you pull through your yarn in sets of two.
Front post double crochet is also known as front raised double crochet. For these instructions, we're going to show you how to pick. Bring hook down on the right side of the post of the stitch, work under it, and bring hook back up the left side.
The front post treble crochet (fptr) (sometimes referred to as the front post triple crochet), is another one to add to your "crochet toolbox".
